Interracial Couples

I found this image on photobucket and wanted to know if you agree or disagree with the saying. Do you think that interracial dating is the only way to really stop racism?
I think it helps stop racism, but it's not the only way. I don't think the color of your skin should determine whether or not you should date somebody.
Interracial dating opens the eyes of others that people date for the personality and not the color of the skin.

Interracial dating, I feel, has nothing to do with the continuation or stopping of racism. Nobody's going to choose a partner based on that partner's skin color. You like who you like. Now I am a firm believer that the color of someone's skin should not stop you from starting a relationship with him/her, but I think that interracial dating stops racism just as much as intRAracial dating promotes racism. One has nothing to do with the other. Just because the people in that interracial relationship are understanding of each other's cultures (hopefully)doesn't mean that outsiders looking in on the relationship will automatically be understanding of it. So no, I feel that interracial dating has nothing to do with racism. If anything, it creates a target for racist people.

I completely agree with Courtney. I think that interracial dating has nothing to do with racism. No one should date someone based on the color of their skin. In fact, if they did, they would actually be committing racism. And even if it were a way to stop racism, it is by no means the only way. So I do NOT agree with the statement.

I agree! I feel that interracial dating also has nothing to do with the continuation or stopping of racism. You can't possibly choose the skin color of who you like or love.
