I feel free most when I play sports with my friends. Specifically, I feel free when I play basketball. Playing basketball allows me to forget all about the things that are going on in my life. A lot of people think that being free means being able to do whatever you want. I also believe that freedom is also having a free mind. Forgetting all the troubles and worries in life can help to free a person's spirit. When I play sports with my friends, its just me and them. All we focus on is playing the game and that's all that matters.

I feel the most free when I listen to music. I love taking my iPod into my room and listening to it for hours. I just put my earbuds on, shut and lock my door, and relax. I'm able to let out anything I feel at the moment through listening, and I don't have to worry about offending anyone with whatever's being said. Listening to music allows me to express myself in ways that plain words can't. You can manipulate sounds to reflect your exact mood; you can do the same with words, but with music, it's on another level.

I feel the most free when i can express myself. Even at work, when we are doing a warm up with the kids, and we have to pretend we are doing something it feels free. You can imagine whatever you like to do and pretend to do it. When we play freeze dance and you dance however you want all over the place is especially freeing.

I feel most free when I am dancing or driving in my car listening to music. It makes me feel as if the world has stopped, and I can enjoy myself. I don't worry about homework, colleges or scholarships because I set that time aside to just concentrate on having fun whether it's dancing at a party or riding in my car with the window down. It's a time where I can let go and loosen up a bit from all of the stress.

I feel the most free when I am skiing. I agree with everyone who said playing sports makes you forget about reality and feel free what you're doing. That is how I feel when I am skiing. I feel as if there are no rules or anything I have to follow. All my stress is relieved. Also, the natural aspect of skiing makes me feel free as well. Being up in the peaceful mountains seperates me from society and people (for the most part).

I am most free when I am with my friends hanging out and have nothing really to do and nobody to answer to. When we are sitting around just talking, driving with the radio blasting and the windows wide open, or playing a game...and there is nothing on my mind except for having fun in that moment... I feel free. The reason I feel most free with my friends is because I know around them, I can be myself and have no reservations. I dont have to worry about what I say or do, so I have complete freedom to do as I please.

I feel free when I'm sittting in front of a piano messing with chords and coming up with new melodies. Music is my favorite form of communication. Sometimes words aren't good enough to express what i might be thinking or feeling, so I find it easier to use a Casio.

I feel free when I'm in control.

(Not to sound domineering)

Have you ever gone to say... get something to eat from the kitchen, stopped half way, and turned around - for not reason?

Well I have and it feels incredible.
Something about being in complete control of my actions is just so liberating. If I wanted to, I could be typing this while wearing mittens in Nova Scotia.

The possibilities are endless.

I feel free when I'm doing something that i enjoy/love. When i get to choose an activity that i enjoy, thats being free. I love listening to music and just laying in bed and thinking. Thats something that makes me feel free. My mind is free to wander and think whatever it wants to. Also when I'm driving in my car, listening to music and enjoying the ride i feel free. I feel like i can drive to wherever i want and its just a very relaxing feeling. Music deffinitly gives you a sense of freedom in which you can listen and jamm out to whatever makes you happy. Also, i feel free when i leave school. During school, you are apt to follow so many rules and stuff and when you get out you can just pick up your phone and text whenever you want or go wherever you want, talk whenever you want and just all these things become okay for you to do. So i enjoy leaving school and feeling like i can pretty much do what i want. Having your license makes you feel free as well. When you didnt have a ride anywhere it sucked. But now since we can drive, we can go wherever we want/do what we want. Its a great feeling.

I feel the most free when I am in the dance studio. The minute i walk through those doors I let everything else in my life go. I forget about anything that is negative and just let myself enjoy dance. When the music turns on and I start moving around the room I feel relieved and most of all free. I love that i don't have to worry about anything but what im doing in that exact moment.

i feel free mostly when i am in a comfortable environment. if i am in a comfy environment, i can just be myself without putting on a charade for another person (i don't know if that makes sense). For example: when i drive, i blast music and tend to drive extra fast. when im in a comfy environment, i am relaxed, chilled and mellowed out. i forget all my stress, anger, and just kick it

I feel free in multiple places, and in multiple situations. One of the places that I feel the most free is when I am in my car. Basically once I leave my house and I am driving down the road, I realize that I can go where ever I want. I have a wallet full of money, I got my cell phone to contact friends and family in case of emergency or if I want to hang out, and I got a full tank of gas (hopefully) to take me miles away. It is when I am driving away do I realize I have power back in my hands. I think it is safe that part of freedom is having power of your own; that is you have the power to do what ever you want, while still being reasonable. When I feel free I believe I can think my thoughts, do my activates, and be who I want to be without an outside force telling me that it is wrong or not acceptable.

I feel most free when... I DANCE!!! I like to dance at parties or actual dances, but nothing compares to dancing in my room in front of my mirror. I can't dance, so it makes it so much more fun. I am my own DJ when I blast my iTunes. I have absolutely no worries when I just jam out. No one can judge me while I'm by myself in front of my mirror, and to me I'm the next Michael Jackson or Usher or Beyonce. I just jump around sometimes too. And just like a few other people have said about what makes them feel free: Time stops. I can waste so much time getting lost in expressing myself and my emotions through jumping and dancing around my room. ... It also is a GREAT work out too! which makes me happy!

The first thing that I think of is a scenario where I am sitting shotgun in a car driven by my friend who is going just about five miles over the speed limit on the turnpike. It is a warm, sunshiny day, the window is rolled down and the breeze is whipping my hair around. The radio is blasting a song that I love and all my friends know the lyrics to by heart. We are all singing and dancing (as best as we can while seated and belted - really more head/upper torso bopping than anything else).

I think the reason why I think of this is because for one, this scenario is free of any and all authority figures. No parents or teachers (who are the biggest stress in my life) or even police officers (yet). The pleasant weather and the fun activity induces endorphins (try saying that five times fast) and I basically am filled with the feeling that I can fly. I think flying is commonly associated with freedom as when we fly we aren't even subject to the restrictions of gravity.

I feel most free when I play sports. When I play sports I forget everything thats going on and just focus and have fun. I am also able to express myself and be as creative as I want to be. I am with my friends and when we focus on the game thats all that is in our minds at that time. Freedom isnt just breaking all the rules, I think freedom is being able to free yourself and relax. Now during midterm season, sports help me relax from the stress that school brings.

I feel free when I do the things that I love doing. Which means that, there are no boundaries around my actions and ideas. If I want to go listen to some music, then I will. That feeling you get when you know YOU can do it. That is the feeling of freedom. Its an amazing and overwhelming experience that I cherish.

Therefore, I get that sense of freedom from music. Music is wonderful because it allows you to go absolutely bonkers. It actually is an unexplainable feeling. Its euphoric and tranquil and definitely frees your spirit.

I feel most free when I pray. My religion and my faith has always been a big part of my life and has always been something that I could depend on and know is there. I just let myself be engulfed in the spirit and just let everything out with one big breathe or just talking about my day and what I'm thinking about. When I pray I know that God is there and that he is listening to what i have to say. With all the craziness that is going on in today's world its nice to be able to sit down and be at peace talking to someone I will give me their undivided attention.

I agree with almost everyone by saying i feel most free when playing a sport. This is because all I am focused on at that moment in time. I don't have to worry about what will happen next. I do not care about when I'll have time to study for physics, or what I got on my Calc. test. All that matters is what you will do in the next few seconds. I feel in control, and I feel like what I am doing will really make a difference. The feelings of being carefree, and stress free are amazing. You are all that matters, and that is what makes me feel most free.

I feel the most free when I’m reading uninterrupted. There, I am free to focus my attention entirely on a book and on the characters’ problems instead of my own. I lose all sense of time and (if I’m really into it) place, which is nice. It makes me feel less anxious, and gives my mind something to chew over (if I’m reading something philosophical).

When I feel free the most is when I play basketball. I let my emotions flow inside of me and use them to my advantage. When I play basketball, I forget about all my problems and just focus on basketball. I feel free because it is something I love to do and no body can stop me from doing it. It is a feeling you can't describe to someone who has never experienced before. When you get into the game, nothing else matters in life. Grades don't matter, girls don't matter, looks don't matter, nothing matters. Everything is pushed to your unconscious mind and you can finally relieve your mind of all your stresses. To me, that is the best type of freedom you can ever get. Freedom from life's biggest problems.

I feel the most free when I am just relaxing on my bed. My room is my comfort zone where I just chill and relax. I also feel free when I play basketball. Shooting around, dribbling the ball, anything that has to do with the ball and the hoop makes me feel empowered. I also love listening to music because whatever I listen to represents the mood I'm in therefore allows me to freely choose what I want. Doing all these things allow me to kind of escape the real world and be relaxed.

i feel the most free when i am tumbling or hanging out with my friends. this is because i can try new things and aquire new skills that not many people are able to do. over the years, i have become more a more experienced tumbler which makes it easy to complete passes. just throwing around backhandsprings and flips are really fun and im good at it. When im with my friends i can be myself and do crazy things without being judged. i think thats really important- people who dont have freedoms to do whatever they want break the rules and are ultimately JUDGED on what they did. thats why being free is so amazing

I feel the most free when i lay on my bed and relax. I love to chill and just daze away. This feeling I get when i don't have to do anything makes me feel great because there are no worries(for that moment). I love that feeling because I don't need to stress about anything. I also feel the most free when I'm playing basketball. Dribbling, Shooting, Running up and down the court makes me feel empowered. I forget about all the worries that I have like school and etc and just play. Having that feeling of no worries is the best.

The epitome of feeling free is sleeping. When you're dreaming you can do what ever you want. You can be whatever you want to be, and it's the one time that society can't control/effect you. When you're dreaming you are in charge. You control the beginning the middle, and the end of every story. No ones views can impact your decisions and you can talk all you want and nothing will ever happen. In your dreams your free to kick your enemy in the face and you can actually be proud of it instead of it being frowned upon by society. It's the one time that you can rebel against everything and yet really nothing. It's the one time that you can be your true self and not be judged.
