Relating to the Butterfly Effect
I have always felt that the course of my most subtle actions has made the biggest impact on my life. In example, if I wake up, get dressed, and go out I am not in my room sleeping anymore. What if i got into an accident and died when going out? what if I didn't get into my car at 11:47 am to go shopping with my friends and slept? what if I asked my friends to meet me there instead of picking them up? Every decision and every action decides your next. Everything reacts based on others reactions. Not everything is as extreme as the situation i just thought up but it still proves the point that everyones actions effect other people and in the long run will tend to cause a butterfly effect.

I guess this is true but everything you do, happens for a reason. Lets say you even think about changing the way you walk it happened for a reason not just some butterfly effect. It destiny but then there are also ways to change your destiny in the sense that most people see it . You have to walk your own footsteps and that's how you make your own true destiny.
I agree with both of you two. People have control of what they want to change (like the way you walk). This can make your own destiny, but the first comment isn't wrong either. When you consciously change one thing, you focus on that and therefore ignore everything else. These things (like when you wake up) can very well have a major impact on yourself and other people.
I agree with all of you and everything does happen for a reason I learned that not that long ago. Life is random and unpredictable we'll never know whats really going to happen by our actions we learn from our mistakes and we try something and know if that doesnt work we don't do that anymore our actions effect other people and thats what causes the butterfly effect one angry person can probably get a whole room angry just because that person chose to maybe take it out on one person then that person took it out on someone else in the room and it would go on from there
i often think about this concept of the butterfly effect. it seems impossible for small seemingly insignificant actions to cause extreme results some where down the line. and i usually try to look at arguments from every angle before i decide to take an approach to id.
I'm still unsure about it. It is hard to say whether we actually play a role in the lives or if we are living out some grand design. And for those who believe in God and that he has our lives planned already, where does our free will come into play?! Also, do we have control over the choices we make or is that part of the great design too. Because right now, i think i am controlling what i want to say, but am i really?.. or it may just be already decided by some greater power?
The butterfly effect ios one of my favorite theories. What would happen if one were to step on a butterfly in the past? People believe that a. everything changes or b. nothing changes. To go back to the driving theory what would happen if you take aq different road. If the "a" people are right then you would live on and change your lifes course. But what if the "b" people were right. Then something else may happen, but with the same results. The movie "A sound of Thunder" represents the "a" idealology of stepping on a butterfly in the past could drastically change the future. Then you have the "Final Destination" series, which follows the "B" theory that no matter what you change your future will happen one way or another.
