I really liked making that domino chain in Reck's class. Our class basically just made a straight chain which looked kind of cool but this is MUCH more interesting. I hope everyone enjoys!

haha wow that was pretty cool. that mustve taken forever to build using lots of patience! i didnt have any patience at all in mr. reck's class building those dominoes. it frustrated me.
haha that was a sick video. that must have taken a LONG time to make. my class was the only one who did it successfully! it was hard though; you had 27 students, all with different ideas to where the dominoes should be placed and everyone doing something at the same time. but we all came together and agreed on what to do and it worked. The "domino effect" that one thing leads to another obviously relates to our lives. But to this topic, what exists and what doesn't, does cause and effect really occur? or does it not have a purpose? it depends on what you belive. i belive if there is a cause, there will be an effect. if you want to belive that its fate then thats your opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Or are they?
I also thought that was pretty cool and dont think I would ever have the patience to do that. However, in Mr. recks class it fustrated me because I did have alot of patience but we were never successfull in completing it around the whole class.
For the record, only two classes out of the fifteen couldn't finish their chains, and it really wasn't a big deal. Both classes were the largest in number, meaning there were more chances to knock the tables and collapse the chains. There was no ONE class that finished.
this seemed like my class everyone had to be in on it and made the whole chain keep on falling. everyone was a control freak. it was a cool idea but we just needed to sit back and come up with a plain first to make it work
That was a really good video and it made setting up the dominos seem so easy. But our class... kind of failed? At first it was because we didn't put breaks into our maze and someone would accidently knock one down. But as time passed by, everyone got so frustrated that some people gave up while others starting screaming at teach other.
wow that was pretty amazing! it almost looked like a roller coaster. it must have taken a long time. in reck's class we had a time limit and my class didnt really complete it. we kept shaking the tables so it kept falling, but atleast on side stood up!I feel this domino effect really does show the outcomes of causality because if you make a decison it will effect something else. if you hit one domino it will effect all the others. not only did this exercise have to with the unit, i think it taught us a little bit about patience because people were gettting really frustrated with the domino falling unintentionally after the just balanced them all.
